The Firm is committed to providing one of the highest compensations among law firms in our markets. The starting salary for a first year associate attorney hired directly out of law school is $140,000 with a $5,000 signing bonus. The starting salary for a new associate completing a two-year Federal Clerkship is $160,000 with a $25,000 signing bonus. In the second and subsequent years, base salaries are set at one of four dollar amounts: (1). $120,000; (2). $140,000; (3). $160,000; or (4). $180,000, together with yearly bonuses up to $100,000 based on hours, working receipts, efficiency, business development efforts, and leadership skills. Bonuses are paid semi-annually. There is no fixed time frame to become a member. While the norm is six years, many attorneys have become members in significantly less time.
