Mr. Pezzillo concentrates his practice on litigating, arbitrating and resolving claims arising from a variety of business, commercial and construction disputes.
He counsels clients on the drafting and
negotiation of various commercial and construction contracts. Mr. Pezzillo has
represented clients before various administrative agencies as well as before
the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Mexico Oil Conservation
Commission, the Las Vegas Air Quality Commission, the Nevada State Contractor’s
Board and the Nevada Commission on Ethics.
Pezzillo currently serves as a neutral with the American Arbitration Association
(“AAA”) as well as a public arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority (FINRA). He is currently listed as an arbitrator/mediator with the
Nevada Department of Business and Industry’s Local Government Employee-Management
Relations Board and the Better Business Bureau of Nevada. In addition, he is a hearing
officer for the City of Henderson, Nevada. Mr. Pezzillo has also been appointed
an arbitrator/mediator with the State Bar of Nevada’s Fee Dispute Committee and
previously served as an arbitrator with the Court-annexed arbitration program
in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada. He has served as a
Justice Pro Tem for the Clark County Nevada Justice Court and a hearing officer
for Clark County.
Mr. Pezzillo received his
J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1996 and his B.B.A.
from the University of New Mexico in 1992. He has been named to Mountain States
Super Lawyers and holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from
Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Pezzillo is admitted practice in the States of Nevada,
Arizona, North Dakota, New Mexico and Colorado, and before the United States Court of Appeals for
the 9th and 11th Districts. He is also licensed to practice before the United
States District Courts of Nevada and New Mexico.
