Mr. Woolbright concentrates his practice in patent law. He has experience in protecting clients in all aspects of their business, including drafting patent applications; performing comprehensive clearance investigations; drafting opinions on invalidity and non-infringement; and advising clients on patent portfolio management. Mr. Woolbright's technical expertise spans from complex chemical processes to medical devices.

Mr. Woolbright received his B.S., cum laude, in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. He also spent a time abroad in London, England where he studied international intellectual property law issues.

Mr. Woolbright is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also licensed in the state of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Mr. Woolbright enjoys writing on a wide variety of intellectual property topics, and has been published by Law 360, IP Frontline, and the AIPLA for his scholarship on intellectual property issues, such as licensing, copyright exhaustion, and international business.
