Mr. Inman concentrates his practice in business and corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.  He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and general business consulting. 

Mr. Inman has worked with closely held corporations and entrepreneurs, handled over 25 acquisitions and dispositions and successfully completed two initial public offerings as well as having handled many complex financing transactions.  Prior to joining Howard & Howard, he was a senior partner at Timmis & Inman LLP, a law firm specializing in business and commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions.   In addition, Mr. Inman spent eight years as a senior executive (6 years as President and Chief Executive Officer) of the Talon Group, a private equity firm with a collection of diversified manufacturing companies and real estate operations serving a variety of industries.  He managed the operations of multiple portfolio companies, ranging in size from $15 million to over $300 million in sales developing the strategic direction of the entire group as well as for each individual company.  While at Talon, he developed the acquisition and growth strategy for the Talon Group and spearheaded the negotiation of and consummation of various acquisitions and dispositions of Talon's portfolio companies.    

Mr. Inman is a member of the Detroit and American Bar Association. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Inman received a Bachelor of Arts, with high honors, in 1968 from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 1971.   He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1971.
