Ms. Litzinger represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law.  She graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she was a member of the Public Law Review, served two professors as a Research Assistant, and competed on the National Moot Court Team.  Ms. Litzinger served as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, Chief Judge Michael M. Mihm, from 1994 to 1996.  Since joining Howard & Howard Attorneys P.C. in 2000, she has focused her practice in labor and employment law representing clients with as few as ten employees and as many as 10,000.

On the employment law side, Ms. Litzinger routinely defends employers in state and federal court proceedings, as well as in administrative proceedings before the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois and United States Departments of Labor, and the Illinois Department of Employment Security.  For a number of clients, she serves as an integral partner with the human resource team.  On the traditional labor side, Ms. Litzinger counsels clients when unions attempt to organize their employees.  She has served as chief negotiator in public collective bargaining negotiations and has tried numerous grievance arbitrations.    

In addition to her practice, Ms. Litzinger regularly speaks on state and federal employment issues for employers as well as a variety of human resource organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations, Council on Education in Management, Lorman Educational Services, the National Business Institute, and Millikin University .  Ms. Litzinger also served as an adjunct professor at Bradley University , instructing on labor and employment law.

Ms. Litzinger is licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri .  She has been admitted before the following courts:  United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (trial bar), and the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.  She has been designated a Barrister by the Abraham Lincoln Inn of the American Inns of Court and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, and the Peoria County Bar Association.
