![]() Mr. Eissfeldt has significant experience in the financial services, corporate and securities areas of law, concentrating his practice in corporate finance, merger and acquisitions and general corporate law matters. He has engaged in a wide variety of corporate and securities law matters including private and public securities offerings, securities regulation of public companies, corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law matters. Mr. Eissfeldt's financial services practice includes the formation of bank and thrift holding companies, acquisition of banks, thrifts and non-banking companies, mutual-to-stock conversions and mutual holding company formations, the sale of securities and other financing transactions, antitakeover planning and other bank regulatory matters. He also represented a number of community banks, thrifts and holding companies in a wide range of banking-related matters, such as the development of securities, insurance and other new services and products, general regulatory and supervisory matters and general corporate and securities law matters. His banking practice extends to thrift charter conversion transactions and cross-industry acquisition transactions between banking organizations and thrifts. Mr. Eissfeldt received both a B.S. degree and a M.S. degree in finance from the University of Illinois. He also received his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and was an articles editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. Mr. Eissfeldt is admitted to practice in Illinois and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. As a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, he was chair of the Corporation and Securities Law Section. He also served as chair of the American Bar Association's Business and Commercial Law Committee of the General Practice Section and is a member of its Committee on Banking Law of the Business Law Section. Mr. Eissfeldt is a frequent author and speaker for various banking and professional organizations throughout the Midwest.
