![]() Ms. Traicoff concentrates her practice in financial institutions, regulatory and compliance matters. She served as Loan Review Officer specializing in legal and consumer compliance matters for Commercial National Bank of Peoria from 1978 to 1982 and as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Midwest Financial Group, Inc. from 1982 to 1989. Ms. Traicoff was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1978 and the Michigan Bar in 1990. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas in 1965, a Master of Science from the University of Illinois in 1970 and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 1978. Ms. Traicoff is a member of the Peoria County Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and its sections on Corporations and Commercial, Banking and Bankruptcy Law. She wrote "New Powers for Illinois Banks," published in Howard & Howard's Financial Services Law Update , First Quarter 2000; "Financial Subsidiary Activities of State Banks," Howard & Howard's Financial Services Law Update , Second Quarter 2000; she also co-authored "ARMed and Dangerous: Servicing Adjustable Rate Mortgage Loans" and "Another Updated Consumer Credit Survival Guide for Commercial Loan Officers-- Even More and Bigger Alligators in the Swamp," which appeared in the American Bankers Association's ABA Bank Compliance. She has lectured on various financial institutions compliance issues and was an instructor for the Illinois Bankers Association Consumer Compliance School.
