Ms. Rutledge concentrates her practice in real estate, general corporate and corporate transaction law.  She has experience in all aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, drafting and negotiating letters of intent, asset purchase and stock purchase agreements and all ancillary conveyance documents.  Ms. Rutledge also has substantial experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, has represented both borrowers and lenders in loan origination, handled title and survey review, real estate acquisition and sales, and commercial and residential development.

After Ms. Rutledge worked as an associate at a law firm in Detroit, she operated her own practice as a sole practitioner before becoming a contract attorney through Kelly Law Registry, where she held a long-term assignment with Delphi Corporation handling corporate transactions and general commercial matters.  Most recently, she was a partner practicing real estate and corporate law with a major law firm in Oakland County (Michigan).

Ms. Rutledge received both an Associate in Applied Science for Legal Assistant and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Ferris State University.  Ms. Rutledge was a paralegal in the corporate real estate practice groups of two law firms.  She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1992, where she was a junior staff editor and case and comment editor of the Law Review, a member of the Moot Court Board of Directors, a 1992 Corporate Counsel Association Scholarship Finalist and secretary of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.

Ms. Rutledge is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar, American Bar Associations and the Irish American Lawyers Association.
