Ms. Stone concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on business disputes, real estate and construction matters.  She also has significant experience in defending product liability and employment matters.  She has extensive court and mediation experience in these areas.

Ms. Stone most recently worked as a Senior Litigation Attorney for  Kmart Corporation where she managed hundreds of commercial and real estate litigation matters pending around the country as well as abroad. 

Ms. Stone is a frequent lecturer and author on personnel matters.  She is also involved in many community organizations, including the City of Huntington Woods Community Fund Board and was recently appointed to the Executive Board of the Fresh Air Society.  She is also on the Michigan Executive Board of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
 
Ms. Stone is admitted to practice in the states of Michigan and Ohio as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Southern District of Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991 from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, where she was a member of the law review. During law school, she clerked for the Hon. Joan E. Young ad interned for the Hon. Nancy G. Edmunds.
