Mr. Kell concentrates his practice in corporate and commercial litigation, toxic tort, employment law, commercial and contract disputes, as well as products liability.  He has extensive experience in the trial of jury and nonjury actions in a wide range of areas.  Mr. Kell has over 30 years experience in a variety of commercial and contractual disputes involving matters such as industrial equipment and machinery, medical products, manufacturing supply agreements and general commercial transactions.
 
Mr. Kell has extensive experience in dealing with serious injuries and death claims in products liability and other areas.  He has represented hospitals, physicians and other health care providers in professional negligence and malpractice matters, as well as in commercial and administrative disputes involving physicians and hospitals.  He has acted as a Referee in the Dalkon Shield ADR Program and has acted as an Arbitrator and Mediator in numerous other matters.  Mr. Kell was the national trial counsel for a leading medical device manufacturer and select national trial counsel for a major manufacturer of seat belts and airbags. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kell was a partner with Kell & Lynch, P.C.  He is a Fellow of the Michigan Bar Foundation and a member of the Defense Research Institute, Association of Defense Trial Counsel, the American Bar Association and the Trial Attorneys of America.  Mr. Kell is also a Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates. 

He is admitted to practice in the states of Michigan and Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States Tax Court.  He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1967 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1970.
