Mr. Sorenson is a member of the Litigation Practice Group in the Peoria , Illinois office of Howard & Howard Attorneys, P.C.  He represents clients before state and federal courts in the areas of business, commercial, insurance, real estate and intellectual property litigation.

Over the past several years, Jeff has handled numerous breach of contract and warranty claims under the Uniform Commercial Code, represented clients nationally in commercial lease litigation, and represented a publicly traded bank holding company in class action litigation and a shareholders' derivative action regarding a shareholders rights agreement.  He also represents insureds in insurance disputes with insurance carriers, particularly involving D&O liability and CGL policies and financial institution bonds. 

Mr. Sorenson is admitted to the Illinois Bar.  He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the District of Colorado, United States Court of Federal Claims and the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.  He received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Miami University in Oxford , Ohio in 1986 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law at Champaign-Urbana in 1989.  Mr. Sorenson is a member of the Illinois State Bar and the Peoria County Bar Association.
