Mr. Hoover concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and commercial transactional law.  He received both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University in 2001 and 2004, respectively.  Mr. Hoover received his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2007, where he was the recipient of Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Procedure; Wills, Estates and Trusts; and Taxation.  Mr. Hoover was also on the Academic Dean's List all three years of law school and earned oral advocacy and brief writing awards in both intra-school and national moot court competitions.

Prior to joining Howard and Howard, Mr. Hoover worked as an intern with the Livingston County Prosecutor's Office and as a Law Clerk with a private litigation firm, where he was involved in trial advocacy and drafting pleadings, including complaints, briefs, motions and answers to motions as well as conducting legal research in commercial, personal injury, criminal and family law.
