Mr. Barbat concentrates his practice in the areas of business and real estate transactions, as well as corporate law.  He received a Bachelor of Arts, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan in 2002 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2005.  Mr. Barbat also studied abroad at the London School of Economics in 2000.  Prior to practicing law, Mr. Barbat developed commercial real estate properties, negotiated landlord/tenant leases, and also managed and operated retail franchises.  He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
