![]() Mr. Long concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage, reinsurance, commercial litigation, product liability and real estate. He has specialized in the handling of complex insurance coverage and toxic tort cases for over ten years. He specializes in defending manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of asbestos and silica dust products for over ten years. He has been successful in resolving complex insurance coverage actions and cases involving the defense of insureds, including cases involving Asbestos, Silica Dust, Phentermine and Fenfluramine (Phen Fen), Phenolic Foam, Breast Implant and Y2K related claims. He has been instrumental in the development of defense strategies in complex litigation matters. He received a Bachelor of Arts in 1989 from Albion College in economics and management and a Juris Doctor in 1994 from the Detroit College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the Detroit College of Law Review. Mr. Long was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1995 as well as the Ohio State Bar in 2006.
